Downy Unstoppable Booster scent beads to launch in Coles supermarkets across Australia
A cult cleaning product that has gone viral around the world is finally launching in Coles supermarkets across Australia.
Downy Multi-purpose Scent Beads gained a huge following on social media after customers claimed they leave floors sparkling, rooms clean and clothes fresh for weeks.
Demand is highest for the $12 ‘Unstoppable Booster Beads’, which promise ’12 weeks of premium freshness on fabrics’ if they are thrown in the washing machine with laundry – a week for every dollar.
Members of the popular Australian Facebook group Mums Who Clean have shared other clever uses for the beads, with many boiling them on stovetops to make DIY air fresheners.

Some mix the beads with water in a spray bottle and use it as a room deodoriser, while others use them to line rubbish bins to eliminate nasty odours from garbage.
Australians are now rejoicing that the ‘game-changing’ cleaning product will land at Coles next week.
While fans could already buy bulk packs of Downy in Costco, the Coles rollout is the first time the product will be stocked in a mainstream supermarket Down Under.
An eagle-eyed shopper shared the news on Facebook, confirming the beads will be stocked in the laundry section from Monday, May 10.
