Elijah Wood Talks About The Country's Fascination With Ted Bundy at Premiere of 'No Man of God'

Elijah Wood hangs with co-star Luke Kirby at the premiere of their new movie, No Man of God, at Pier 76 in New York City on Friday (June 11).
The two stars were joined by director Amber Sealey, producers Daniel Noah and Lisa Whalen, and many others for the event during the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
The film centers on the complicated relationship develops between serial killer Ted Bundy and FBI analyst Bill Hagmaier during Bundy’s final years on death row.

“I think by and large, most serial killers tend to be on the fringes of society or they’re shut-ins, or they’re anti-social. And the thing about Ted is, he led a very successful double-life,” Elijah shared during the premiere with Yahoo Entertainment.
He adds that he thinks that’s “why people are constantly fascinated by Ted Bundy. Because it doesn’t make sense with what we kind of understand someone like him to be. He was involved in local politics, he studied law, he could’ve been a lawyer. He probably could’ve worked for the FBI.”
“He really fooled a lot of people and I think that’s why there’s sort of an endless fascination about him,” Elijah said.
No Man of God is expected to be in theaters, on demand and digital August 27.
