LiAngelo Balls girlfriend fires back at trolls: Watch the fking game

LiAngelo Ball’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Evoni Barbour, sent a fierce PSA to critics who apparently questioned why she wasn’t present at his Summer League debut in Las Vegas on Sunday.

In a social media video captured by Awesemo.com, Barbour said, “I don’t really like addressing s–t. Shut the f–k up and let me watch this game in peace and stop worrying about what I’m doing,” she said while watching Ball’s breakout performance on television.

“Your main focus needs to be on LiAngelo — not where I’m at, because I’m at home because I have work to do. Watch the f–king game,” Barbour said.

She didn’t divulge many details about the meaning behind her comments.

In separate posts on her Instagram Story, Barbour supported Ball in his Summer League debut. He finished with 16 points – including five 3-pointers – two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 16 minutes in Charlotte’s 93-86 loss to Portland.

Ball and the Hornets fell to the Kings, 80-70, on Monday night. He was one of five Hornets players to score in double digits, recording 10 points to go with five rebounds and two steals.

Charlotte will have two full days off before they play the Spurs on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Cox Pavilion — where Ball will continue to push for an unlikely roster spot with the Hornets alongside his brother LaMelo.

The middle Ball brother has yet to make splash in the NBA after leaving UCLA in 2017. His older brother Lonzo was selected No. 2 overall by the Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft, and on Aug. 2, he agreed to a sign-and-trade four-year deal with the Bulls. LaMelo was selected by the Hornets with the third overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft, and was voted Rookie of the Year.

Ball and Barbour made their relationship Instagram official in May, when he reportedly shared a since-expired Instagram Story video of the singer. That same month, she shared a TikTok video of the pair and penned a loving caption to Ball.

“It’s the fact I know that this is a forever thing with us… never been so sure about someone but YOU…. you are my person,” Barbour wrote. “Love youuuuu.”

Barbour, a Virginia native, began her career singing career in 2012, at age 16. She released her first single in “Levi,” in 2017.
